On the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week (August 1–7), the Kuzhanthai Maruthuvam Department, in collaboration with Eve’s Club, organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme titled “Promoting Breastfeeding for Healthier Futures.” The session was delivered by Dr. S. Rajasree, Senior Consultant in General Pediatrics at Dr. Rela Institute and Medical Centre, Chromepet.

Dr. Rajasree emphasized the vital role of breast milk in ensuring optimal infant health and development, and she also elaborated on common myths and evidence-based facts related to breastfeeding.
