The Department of Aruvai Maruthuvam organized a CME Programme on “CANCER – Understanding, Fighting and Hope” on 23.09.2026 (Wednesday). The programme was graced by Dr. Naveen Kumar Pandian, BSMS, Director, INSRI Siddha, Chennai, who served as the resource person. The session focused on cancer awareness, understanding the disease, the importance of early detection, available treatment approaches, and the role of hope and emotional support in cancer care. The programme provided valuable insights into cancer prevention, patient care, and the potential role of Siddha medicine in an integrative healthcare approach, enriching the participants’ understanding of cancer management and the importance of public awareness.
