The Department of Uyirvedhiyiyal organized a CME Programme on “Precision in Tradition: Modern QC and Analytical Methods for Siddha Drug Standardization” on 01.09.2026 (Tuesday). The programme was graced by Dr. K. Nalina Saraswathi, M.D. (S), Ph.D., HOD, Gunapadam Marunthakaviyal and Associate Professor, Government Siddha Medical College, Arumbakkam, who served as the resource person. The session focused on modern quality control (QC) techniques and analytical methods for standardizing Siddha drugs, emphasizing the importance of quality, safety, purity, and consistency in traditional medicine formulations.
