We, the department of Gunapadam conducted a pooneeru collection trip on 18.03.2022 at 3am from the ground at siddhamalli village nearby uthirameroor. Pooneeru is a dew formed from the moisture of the earth . It is otherwise called as waherman’s or fuller’s earth. Students had a great experience while collecting the pooneeru. We wish to express our sincere thanks to siddha vaithiyar BalaKrishnan who guided us in collecting pooneeru .We also express our gratitude to Dr. Balagurusamy MD(S) Principal, Velumailu Siddha medical college and Dr. Suresh , professor, velumailu siddha medical college. Nearly 127 students and 8 staff members participated in the pooneeru collection.
