As a part of the academic curriculum, the Department of Kuzhanthai Maruthuvam organized an educational visit to NIEPMD, Chennai on 11.07.2025. The purpose of this visit was to provide students with exposure to multidisciplinary approaches in managing children with special needs and to enhance their understanding of developmental disabilities and rehabilitation strategies.
Outcome of the Visit:
Students gained practical exposure to the multidisciplinary management of children with developmental delays and disabilities.
It provided a platform to understand government initiatives and facilities provided for differently-abled children.
The visit helped bridge theoretical learning with real-world pediatric rehabilitation approaches
