As part of our academic curriculum, students of the Department of Gunapadam Marunthakkaviyal had the opportunity to visit IMPCOPS (Indian Medical Practitioners’ Co-operative Pharmacy and Stores Ltd.), Thiruvanmiyur.

During the visit, students gained valuable insights into the large-scale manufacturing, quality control, and standardization processes of Siddha medicines. The interactive session with experts deepened their understanding of traditional medicine preparation, aligning classroom learning with practical exposure.The experience was both educational and inspiring, fostering a deeper respect for the indigenous systems of medicine and the science behind them.
