The Department of Sool Magalir Maruthuvam, in association with Hyundai Hope for Cancer, IIT Madras, organised a Free Cancer Screening Camp at the adopted village, Thirumudivakkam, on 30th October 2026.

A team of doctors from the Hyundai Hope for Cancer Project, IIT Madras, collaborated with our department to conduct the screening camp and provide healthcare services to the local community.

Highlights of the Camp:

• General Medical Consultation
• Oral Cancer Screening
• Head and Neck Cancer Screening
• Breast Cancer Screening
• Cervical Cancer Screening

The camp aimed to promote cancer awareness, facilitate early detection, and improve access to preventive healthcare services among the village population.
