On February 16th and 17th, 2026, Sri Sairam Siddha Medical College and Research Centre had the distinct pleasure of hosting the VII semester nursing students from Panimalar College of Nursing for a two-day comprehensive observational visit.

Organized as an integral part of their academic curriculum, the visit was designed to provide the nursing students with practical exposure to the AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy) system of medicine, with a special focus on traditional Siddha healthcare practices.

As modern healthcare increasingly embraces integrative medicine, understanding traditional systems is crucial for the next generation of healthcare professionals. Our faculty and staff were thrilled to facilitate this cross-disciplinary learning experience.
