Educational field trip for the Second Profession BSMS 2022–2023 batch was organized by the Department of Gunapadam – Marunthiyal – Maruthuvathavaraviyal on 03.09.2025. The objective of the field visit was to enhance students to understand the relationship with local people and plant diversity, ecology and specifically the study of ethnomedicinal plants in their natural habitats. The field visit covered the forest area of Thiruvadisoolam, under the Chengalpattu Reserve Forest Division.
