Students from Sairam Siddha Medical College and Research Centre actively participated in the Independence Day Marathon Run organized by The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University on August 11, 2024. Held at the Olcott Memorial Higher Secondary School in Besant Nagar, Chennai, the event commenced at 5:30 AM and concluded at 7:30 AM. The marathon, aimed at fostering patriotism among medical students, covered a distance of 5 kilometers. Honoring the occasion, the esteemed Governor of Tamil Nadu and Chancellor of the University, graced the event by flagging off the marathon. Vice Chancellor, Dr. K.Narayanasamy, Dr. N. Kabilan, Professor and HOD, (Siddha), Dr. G. Bharthkumar, Course Incharge, ISM also participated in the event.
